The apartment comprises of a good-sized living area complete with comfortable seating, WiFi and a Carrom board to while away the evening hours. Adjoined to this is a good-sized sleeping area, with a large double bed and an excellent air-conditioning unit that quickly cools the room down during the hotter months.

The kitchen area comes complete with all the necessary utensils and cutlery for making meals, as well as a large fridge and gas cooker, making it ideal for cooking dinners in the evening or preparing breakfast before a busy day out in the city. Next to this is the bathroom, which while small, is still the perfect size for one or two people to share. The shower is powerful and runs cool temperature water which is ideal in combatting the Indian heat and there is also a sit-down toilet as well.

At 900 rupees per night, this cosy apartment is fantastic value for money with its central location and peaceful surroundings. There are great connections by Uber or other taxi services to the airport in Chennai, as well as more local rickshaw services very close by if you want to head to local beaches or other tourist destinations like Auroville. All essential items are available from shops in the local area, as well as bars, cafes and fantastic street food just a short walk from the apartment.
